What is Slack?

Every Sunday we gather as a church and celebrate the good things Jesus is doing in His family here. To keep the conversation going all week we use a tool called Slack. It's an online messaging app that allows us to share prayer requests, communicate upcoming events, news, post sermons, and even have conversations with church members. If you would like to join us on Slack sign up above and we will send you an invite email.

Expectations

We ask that Slack would not be used for personal and professional advertisment, posting social media links, selling items, harrasing, or making political posts. Post that do not uphold these standards will be removed.

When you first sign up for Cornerstone Slack, you will be automatically added to our #allcornerstone, #encouragement, #events, #prayerrequests, #freebies, #snacktable channels. These channels are a great way to learn what’s happening at Cornerstone and stay connected to the church family beyond Sundays. See the tabs below to learn more about each channel.

  • Church-wide announcements, discussions, pictures related to church, No social media links, for sale items, or political posts, please.

  • Prayer requests, updates on prayer requests, no politics please.

  • This channel is to create an easy space to find out what events are happening at Cornerstone. Events are also posted on our Breeze calendar.

  • This channel exists to encourage and uplift the church body through sharing Scriptures and stories. Please make sure that your posts align with Cornerstone's values, that they are uplifting in nature, and are non-political.

  • Sign up to bring snacks to our Sunday snack table.

  • The name says it -- a hint of Acts 4:32
